Who We Are

I work with mission-driven organizations that want fundraising to feel steadier, clearer, and more aligned with their values.

My role is less about adding activity and more about adding judgment, structure, and focus so good intentions can turn into reliable support.

Experience at a Glance

Over the past 20+ years, I have worked in senior fundraising roles across higher education, healthcare, and national nonprofits, including community foundations and research-focused organizations. My work has included major and planned gifts, campaign planning, prospect research/analytics, and interim leadership.

Credentials:

  • Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®), American College of Financial Services – Specializing in complex gift planning and donor intent.

  • Certificate in Higher Education Management, Harvard University – Advanced institutional strategy.

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA), Brenau University – Data-driven leadership and operational excellence.

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA), St. Mary’s College of Maryland – The foundation of my critical thinking and communication.

My Approach

Redgate helps organizations raise money with more confidence and less noise. I work alongside executive directors, boards, and development teams to turn scattered effort into a clear, repeatable approach that fits how your organization actually operates.

My background spans major gifts, planned giving, prospect research, and interim leadership, but the through-line is practical problem solving. I focus on systems that outlast any one campaign and on relationships that feel like partnerships, not transactions.

Based in Maryland and Ohio, I serve organizations nationwide with a simple aim: help good missions move forward without the usual fundraising headaches.

How I Work

• Listen before advising. I begin by understanding your context, constraints, and culture before recommending a strategy or structure.

• Translate ideas into next steps. I focus on practical priorities, clear ownership, and systems that people can actually maintain.

• Build capacity, not dependency. My goal is to leave organizations more confident and capable than I found them.
